Bloody wind

High winds and rain stopped play in the garden and the whole garden looks like a bomb site with fallen branches and very untidy twigs -it's just not good enough. This poor Schefflera has lost most of it's lower leaves and will need a severe chopping back to force it to regenerate.

Bismarkia nobilis

Unfortunately this isn't growing here in my garden but was in a friends garden in Australia. A majority of the plants we yearn to grow here in the UK are treated as weeds in Oz

Wet, Cold and Windy

Well I suppose for February it ain't half  bad:-

Looking back to last summer this variegated Ricinus was a joy to behold but of course it's now deceased but spurs me on to grow even more in the future. Annual bedding of exotic plants is a little more interesting than the standard pansies.
